Refund and Credit Policy
Refund and scan credit policy for Aimusicdetector.app one-time paid scan packs.
Current paid-feature status
Aimusicdetector.app sells one-time scan credit packs for additional AI music detector runs after free limits are used.
Aimusicdetector.app does not currently sell public paid reports, certificates, monthly subscriptions, or B2B API access.
Payments
We may use PayPal or another checkout provider for scan credit purchases and private account payment features. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
When payment is used, the merchant name shown at checkout or on your payment statement may identify the checkout provider merchant account or the individual operator.
Scan credits
Scan credits pay for detector runs, not certificates, legal opinions, source attribution, copyright clearance, platform approval, commercial-use clearance, or B2B API resale rights. Scan credits do not have a scheduled expiration at launch while the account remains active, but may be adjusted for refunds, chargebacks, fraud, abuse, account closure, service discontinuation, or legal requirements.
Refund boundary
Successfully completed detector scans are generally non-refundable because the digital service has already been delivered.
If a provider error, timeout, storage failure, or app-side technical failure consumes a paid scan credit without delivering a scan, the application is designed to return that scan credit where possible.
Refunds or payment adjustments may be considered for duplicate charges, payment processing errors, technical failures that consumed paid access incorrectly, unauthorized transactions verified through the payment provider, legal requirements, or support-approved exceptions.
Approved refunds are usually submitted within 5-10 business days. The time for funds to appear may depend on PayPal, your bank, or your payment method.
Taxes, VAT, currency conversion, and payment method fees may be calculated or handled by PayPal or the checkout provider where applicable.
